The Corn Islands

-Nearshore: Within a few miles of shore the coral reefs supply an abundance of species to target.

Techinques: Trolling, live bait, chunking

Target Species: King Mackerel, Barracuda, Mahi-Mahi, Jacks, Pompano, Snapper, Grouper & more.

-Blowing Rock: Is a spectacular rock formation that abruptly rises above the surface in 60 feet of water, which is about 8 miles away.

Techinques: Trolling, live bait, top water, chunking

Target Species: King Mackerel, Barracuda, Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Jacks, Pompano, Snapper, Grouper & more.

-Rivers & Lagoon: Also trips can be arranged to go to the river mouths and lagoons of the mainland for world-class Tarpon and Snook fishing

-Dock Fishing: Right from the dock of our restaurant one can catch bonefish and barracuda in the day and big Dog Snapper at night..

-Bottom fishing: Anchoring up on good bottom structure near the islands produces big grouper and snapper and non-stop action.

Techinques: Bottom rigs with dead bait, live bait, jigging, and chunking.

Target Species: Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Cobia, Margate, Jacks, Amberjack, Pompano, Hind, and more.

-Offshore: The deep bluewater is only about 10 miles away from Big Corn and a variety of spectacular fish school up in these waters.

Target Species: Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Marlin,

-Pearl Cays: About 20 miles to the West are the Pearl Cays which are a small chain of tiny islands about 6-15 miles away from the mainland. Trips can be arranged to come her and target Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Barracuda, Snapper, and Jacks.
